Having a wedding, birthday, anniversary or corporate event and looking for somewhere airy, relaxed and in an unusual setting? Waterhouse Restaurant ticks all those boxes. We cater for a range of bespoke events. And with an open-air terrace on London’s best kept secret, Regent’s Canal.
Our team can create tailored menus for formal or informal events, whether it’s a canapé reception or staff barbeque. Call us to discuss your requirements.
Waterhouse Conference Centre
Waterhouse Restaurant also caters for events in Waterhouse Conference Centre, a spacious, light-filled and elegant conference room. Housed in the same building as the restaurant, the centre is part of Shoreditch Trust’s enterprise portfolio, and has a large break-out area, WiFi, AV equipment and comfort cooling. It is perfect for networking events, launches, board meetings, and receptions. Call us to arrange a viewing.

The Savvy Cook
Delight in a mouth-watering three course vegetarian feast prepared for you by Izy Hossack and the team at Waterhouse Restaurant.
Izy shot to fame with her beautiful blog and Instagram account, Top with Cinnamon, which led to the release of her delicious debut cook book of the same name. Her smart and creative recipes follow her motto of ‘maximum flavour and minimum effort, without breaking the bank.’
Whilst you nibble and sip, Izy will demonstrate a selection of her latest recipes from her soon-to-be-released second book, The Savvy Cook, including Swedish cinnamon knots and a clever veggie “chorizo” dip. You will then get to eat these treats along with the rest of your feast.
This event will support the work of Shoreditch Trust, a Hackney-based charity that provides services to the local community to help them to lead healthy, fulfilling and independent lives.

Waterhouse Restaurant is hosting a Comedy Night on Thursday 15th June 2017, with a sharp line-up featuring compere Stephen Diplacito, Mamoun Elagab, Joseph Parsons, Chelsea Hart, Matt Brooks, Neil O'Rourke and event-organiser Ken Grinell.
Waterhouse, a Shoreditch Trust social enterprise, is based on Regent’s canal in Hackney and has an impressive offer; delicious, seasonal and reasonable food for its customers, and a person-centred training and development programme for young people that supports them to learn and practice new skills in a live setting and transition into independent living. Meals at the restaurant are prepared by trainees on Shoreditch Trust’s Blue Marble Training programme, under the supervision of Head Chef and Lead Facilitator, Amrit Bhachu.
As an alumnus of the Blue Marble programme, Ken Grinell is taking his talent as a comedian home, organising a comedy feature with a hysterical line-up to take centre stage at Waterhouse.
"We have put together an evening of fine dining and comic timing all in the name of charity. With the help of some of the best up and coming stand-up comics and Shoreditch Trust, my aim is to create a truly unforgettable night." – Ken Grinell.
All proceeds will go to the Blue Marble Training programme, the beneficiaries of which will have the chance to showcase their work by providing mouth-watering refreshments on the evening.
Tickets to the event are available through the restaurant so be sure to book now for what promises to be a hilarious evening: 020 7033 0123 ¦ firstname.lastname@example.org.
